After completing everything else in the battleforce, I was eager to start on the Rhino to start testing Chaos out. However, the sprues for the tracks (the piece called R4) looked like it had melted away the middle of the track. I put together the rest of the rhino, save the tracks, and then sent them a message about the piece.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or if its meant to be a detail of the tank.

I don't have any chaos rhinos but I have put together loyalist rhinos, which are the chaos counterparts minus the spiky bits. The short answer is no, the tracks should never be like that. I'd say complain to GW but it appears you already have.

EDIT: WOW, I completely missed what you were talking about, and spent all that time drawing it. I thought you meant the bumps that get glued in were pushed to the side, not even noticing you were missing an entire piece of the track. My mistake, that is definitely a problem.

Do not email them.. call them! Go to the GW Website and there is a phone number in the upper right. Call it.. talk to a live person. Explain the situation.

Last time this happened for me it was a mis-mold.. the plastic didn't make it to the center of the sprue.. and they sent me a whole new box set to get me the part.

Yes this does happen time to time. A sprue dosnet get poured all the way or you are missing a whole sprue or got the wrong sprue. I got the Aobr box once and it was missing one spure and had double of another. Give them a call and they will be more then happy to replace it. They will ether send you the sprue you need or a new box. They are ussully pretty nice about it since it happens and is well somewhat un avoidable anyways. Mistakes happen.

Thanks, I'm planning on calling them tomorrow since its already past 5 there now anyways.
I'm hoping for a new rhino alltogether, just to have two for my army.
