Can the Citadel Black Undercoat that comes with the Hobby Starter set be used directly on greenstuff?

I made a converted Kroot Shaper and made a net type cape. The back of the figure can be seen through the net. So, I wanted to prime the model with the cape off, paint all the details, then add the cape on later. I do not want to glue the cape on because of fear that it might fall off and take some paint with it. Thus, I plan to secure the cape with greenstuff which will wrap arround to the front of the model and I will scuplt it to fit under the chin. Now, I end up with a piece of green stuff that needs to be painted. I was thinking to paint on the Citadel Black Undercoat to work as a primer. Then, paint and seal the model when it's done. How would the absence of a primer coat affect the painted greenstuff?

well, on such a small piece, it wouldn't really matter too much. If you really wanted to though, put the nozzle nearly touching a piece of cardboard or paper towel until it forms a small blob or paint then apply that with a brush.

Primer holds to greenstuff just fine.

What Breotan said, you can prime over it just like metal or plastic. Although if you used something other than water as lubricant you'll need to wash that off first.
