hello dakka im repainting my nids with a new scheme and dont have acess to a camera right now but, i'am repainting them black skinned, Dark angel green for the plates with a camo green highlight. It works really well but, i cant think of a good color for the cranium of my zoanthrope any thoughts?

How about a vivid colour like orange,pink or red?

I used dwarf flesh followed by a red wash. comes out all nice and brainy.

I think as long as you use anything similar to "brain" followed by a wash it should come out nicely.

I'd use red since it's the complimentary color of green. It will contrast nicely with the skin and carapace colors.

Orange or purple. It will looks crazily alien and awesome.

Dheneb Stone followed by a Leviathan Purple wash.

scab red then devlin mud wash it. then highlight with blood red maybe
