when your in close combat. because if they lose a lage the pivet pont is still good this is vary prevelant in the space marnie dreadnots.

You strike on the front armor like normal, with normal comparison of WS. Immobilization does not affect the way Walkers work in combat at all, except that they lose 1 attack.

They're easier to hit with grenades after they are immobilized. Normally you need a 6 to hit one with a nade, but if a walker is already immobilized at the start of the assault phase you use comparative WS to determine the to hit roll needed.
