Granted, it's not a super strong list but would be hilarious to field. I am going to try it out at some point soon.

A EotG would be nice, but I figure one annoying flier is fine; while the other sits around a makes DD.
- Could replace the two Priests and a skirmisher unit but would be low on kit (leaving me with no Dispel scrolls as I would opt for the Diadem).
Decent shooting from the all the Stegadons, hopefully softening up units for the horrible charge they will unleash on the enemies front.

If I saw you place this army on the table during deployment I would simply pack up my stuff and leave without saying a single word.

Understandable. I am fighting a Nurgle WoC army this weekend, so I figured I would make him just as sad as he is making meeee.

Also, yes; Terradon Riders will be a nice addition. ALTHOUGH, another Stegadon would make me cry with laughter.

Pretty sure within 5 minutes of reading that codex my brother had the same idea. It is a hilarious theme to go with. Pretty sure for your opponents sake if they are not completely battered and broken after the charge you should concede out of "disappointment" in your steeds.

haha, yeah. I played a WoC Nurgle army last weekend with this list. The result was very sad for them... I will write up a batrep at some point and post it.

True but its one giant target and a lot of scardie skinks or hardened skink veterans and maybe one lessstegadon (im not sure if thats true i dont have the codex) but when a kroxigors added they do a lot more damage, plus my spear chukkas ussually take stegadons down without a problem(6 s 5 causing d3 wounds each)

The list was fairly circumstantial, I just wanted lots of impact hits. True that Kroxigors will hit harder but a unit of CoC can cost about the same and are much better. As for the Spear Chuckas, like I said, circumstantial army but I am sure I could figure out a way around that, taking an EotG would help.

I agree that impact hits can be great i f memory serves though the big thing is skinks are chickens (tht may just be bad rolls)

Stubborn, Cold-Blooded Ld6 is actually pretty good; especially since the after the discard the average roll is a four. The Stegs are meant to run in pairs, with one as a hammer(-ish). That gives it a total US20, Terror/Fear and impacts from both, followed by the attacks. It actually works out pretty well in the end.

Seen the steg list run before - you need a BSB in there, as well as double charging two stegs into a single ranked up unit to do anything. Cold blooded LD6 is good, but without the BSB you risk a bad roll costing you alot of points.

Fluff wise I can see it, but usually not that competitive. Lot of magic can't really hurt it, but any artillery or war machines usually makes for a bad day.

The list really does need a rework to not suck, it worked out the one time that I used it against Nurgle-WoC. In reality I would never play a serious game with this list. It would be boring and make me sad (and in fact it did).
