Could it be legal to come to an APOC game with nothing but an ordinance marker and claim to be a Deamon Hunter army with X ammount of points soley put on the orbital strike option?

It would be legal under the Apoc army building rules.

Good luck getting anyone to let you actually do it, though.

Oh i wasn't planning on doing it, i thought of the idea and found it pretty funny.

It might be funny just to see how much one could actually destroy with that option. Ask your opponent (or test it on your own army for that matter). ;-)

You would of course be guaranteed to lose because of the Wipeout! rule, and opponents would simply have to avoid terrain.

That's in standard missions, not Apocalypse. But having no scoring units at all would ofc mean one can never hope for more than a draw.

UNLESS it was a team APOC match; then I would be the annoying support killing all the light infantry and armor

Is Orbital strike considered reserves? you roll as reserves to see if it arrives right? would i disruption beacon work against it?

I would think not; no unit is arriving.
