Why, oh why is it so fething hard to, oh, come up with original stories instead of always seeking out classics to ruin?

Becuase just like reality TV has becoime the new "thing", so are movie remakes, unfortunately.

For the love of God, leave these movies alone and MAKE NEW FILMS!!

They should leave it alone, especially as the first was nothing too great.

They should set the remake in the 80s and blow up the WTC at the end.

this is because Hollywood is slowly loosing the ability to come up with there own story thus that must steal story form Africa and the rest of the wold and clam it there own and on top of that they turn book/ comics in to film and completely butcher them. but it's ok as long they make truck loads of money it all good.

Technically, this is a remake of a remake since Escape from L.A. was pretty much the same movie as the first!!!!!!
