Hello all thanks for looking at my post..

now I am not the world best painter Not am I a poet But I will try my best to show you guys what I have done for my first conversion EVER !!

now I would like to point out that I do Not have the Worlds best Camera Ether..but I made do..

now to start I first was given some models from a Friend who is painting Blood angels ( he cannot wait for the new Codex )

And he knows I play and paint chaos,Tho I have painted my fair share of space marines in the past..

so with out a to do here is some of the pictures




this is a Terminator From the black reach set..poorly painted..

now I know he wanted a Librain for he's blood angels and I know he did not have one so I start get some of my bits together..



as you can see I have picked what I wanted and its ready to Strip the model of this God awful Paint job..



Now from this picture you can see I have dumped the Whole model in Astone Free Nail polish remover ( local dollar store Brand )



As you can tell I had to brake out the soft Tooth Brush to get all the detail paint off but it works very well I mite add thank you to whoever found that out..
now on to the important stuff as you can see in the pictures I was in the middle of posing the model when I had the idea to Mold a Hood out of Green Stuff




So this is where most would have stopped but I carried on and started to paint the model in the color's that my friend picked..



so please let me know what you think and please give me feed back so I can improve my painting and modeling on this project as it is for a very dear friend of mine..

Well, back on topic, the conversion is pretty good. To me, the greenstuff is a little thick to be a hood, it looks like a parka. That said, its much better than any greenstuff work I've ever done.

to post the pict directly, right click on the photo, choose 'properties', copy the adress then use the image tags above the text box - eg:


that way you'll get more responses - lazy people like me hate clicking on these kind of links because:
a, we don't know where it may take us
b, some picture posting sites are horribly slow and/or break (see 1st reply)

Ok guys I updated the first post as I said sorry for any problems I caused I never meant to and I understand about the rick rolled thing I have been got with that in the past but I hope that this will prove I am not here to start problems all I want is some feed back on the mini so I can make sure I never make the same mistakes again.

Nice work. Plus thanks for the nail varnish remover trick for plastics! I was too scared to put plastics in turps, fine for metals, but they smell like they will melt plastic..

Glad I can help todski I got that stuff from my local dollar store I used to live in England so they may have some at a pound shop Not sure tho I hope they do Mate..

yes I am going to sand it down a little with my Drimmel and take some pictures when I get my picture box up and running..that way it will look a lot less like a Parka lol..
