So, I'm getting ready to wrap up my orks and am trying to decide what to collect next. I'm caught between Imperial Guard, Space Wolves or Codex Space marines of some chapter(Probably Raven Guard) Thoughts?

They're all good choices.

If you want something completely different than Orks, SM is the way to go. You can make a very shooty list, with some tough models in it.

Guard or SW might both be more in your comfort zone. Guard is another horde army, but with a much stronger emphasis on shooting. Wolves are very assaulty, but can also shoot very well, thought marginally less well then a vanilla SM list geared for it.

I think SW might be the best choice for you, as its closer to what you're used to, but will still feel different enough to be fresh to you.

Just curious, how many points of orks have you painted?

Almost 1850 worth. Most of the infantry is done and finished but still need to work on the tanks.

Playing Space Wolves is about as close to being an Ork as you can be while still wearing power armor. I went from playing Wolves to Orks really naturally, and I still love playing both armies. Codex Marines are pretty easy to get used to too. However, Guard could be a bit of a paint. Doing two horde-y armies in a row can get really tiresome, and is why my neglected Catachans are pretty much abandoned after 200 points.

But OP can be mechanized guards though.
