I've been playing the demo for this and I would have to say that I'm pretty impressed by what the full game would actually have. I like the fact that you can customize your character so that you get extra armor on vehicles or have a specialty added to a class. You can also change loadout from the class menu while you respawn. The awesome building destruction and the gravity affect on the bullets is also another great feature the game will have. I may be crazy saying this, but does anyone else think that this has potential to wreck CoD's stranglehold on the FPS market?

I love this demo.

Well over 30 hours played on it so far, it ends on the 25th so I'll be salty for the real game.

It's only good with cooperative people, however.

"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

I've done a review about the demo. Check it out at http://nerdbloggaming.weebly.com. A little plug for my blog there

I think the general concept of combat is that you don't wait for the enemy's permission to attack him.

My housemate burnt out on CoD and moved onto this. He really liked it but it didn't appeal as much to me. The pace is much, much slower than CoD - guys will take a lot more hits to go down. It's silly in CoD when you put half a clip into a dude at point blank only to see him live and its even worse in Bad Company from what I've seen.

I really like the inclusion of armoured vehicles though, so maybe I'll check it out again when the full version comes out.

The fully destructible terrain sounded awesome but in play it didn't seem fully destructible. Perhaps I'm being unfair with that one though.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

It's hard to get a building to fall completely down unless its only girders left.

But like I said, I really, really love the bullet gravity. Aiming above a targets head with a sniper rifle in order to get a headshot rocks. Although this could be because I was a fan of "Sniper Elite".
