Starting dark eldar, i've already got an army planned and such with advice from my fellow dakkites. however it has come to my attention that while i can easily convert dark lances i've never seen a blaster b4. are there any good tutorials on how to convert them from other weapons? or if someone could just post a pipcture of what one looks like (i cant find any on google images) then i could prolly model something of my own outta my excess gun parts from tau csm and ig.

Anyway, I'm about to make some blaster for my Warriors. I'm going to use splinter rifles removing the blades and swapping the barrel for a shorter and thicker copper tube:

You can find this tubes in very small thicknesses in RC/modelling shops. Less than 1$ for a 1' long piece.

Here is a great way to make homemade Blasters:
Take splinter Cannon, cut off the end barrel and top handle. You may add spikes at the top, but I don't. Snip off a bit of the bottom grip and glue it on top of a warrior's hand. There, now you have a Blaster. The thickness of the SC makes it stand out from the rifles and gives you the impression it is a firearm that packs a PUNCH. (Which it does!)

I would love a quick example if its not too much of a hassle. sounds like a much simpler and more effective way then i was planning on making the conversion
