My girl bought me the Imperial Sector box set for V day. NICE!!!!
However; I opened it to find two sprues missing. I only realized it so quickly, because the back of the box lists the included sprues.
What should I do? I dont think the comic shop will exchange it because its been opened.

Give GW a call and they will correct it. My buddy had the same problems with 10 guys missing out of an IG battleforce and they sent him a box set of ten guys.

You could try exchanging it back. If that doesnt work, send a letter or email to games workshop, telling them what happened, and they will probally solve this problem for you.

I've heard a lot of cool stories about GW sending people stuff when their boxes aren't complete. Good luck dude.

Yeah this isnt really a common problem but it happens to prolly everyone at least once. Call them. Dont bother emailing them or sending a letter as a simple phone call wil speed up the whole proces very quick. Give em a call and tell them the story and whats missing and they will replace it. They are very good about it. There CS is very good. Always helpful.

Thanks for the help guys. I work in a manufacturing job; and I know in multipart kits, things can be missed. Personally, this is the first time this has happened to me.

If you call GW there's a good chance of them sending you a whole new building. Call them before doing anything else.

Don't worry about it, as others have said, just call them up. I had two left arms for a Tau broadside suit I bought a while ago, only miss packaged GW product I've ever bought. I called them up and they asked for the lot number on the box and express mailed me the right arm I was missing.

GW customer service is normally very good. Call them and they will probably send the sprues to you, or even a new kit.

I had two left back parts (or was it right back parts?) instead of one of each on my Karamazov and they sent me a brand new box. Now I'm wondering what to do with all the unused bits from the other kit.

+1. GW customer service is great. Everyone I've heard from that had issues with missing parts got them (and possibly more) replaced. I made a small order from them once and an item was missing. The CS rep was as nice as you could hope and they shipped the missing item right away.

Thanks guys! I called customer service and theyre sending out a replacement box, no questions asked. Sure, their prices may be outrageous; but the customer service makes up for it! *for me anyway*

Actually funny story about what my friend got ordered in. He decided to pick up some dark eldar stuff incase the new stuff or incase he wants to play. So he ordered a thing of incubi a raider and some other unit I can't remember. So what does he get? Well the raider came in just fine, but as for the other two things he ordered? Well one of them was a model from Warmaster, I have never heard of this, pretty much was an Orc on a Wyvern and about the size of a quarter. And the other was a set of squigs from warhammer fantasy. Now both things he ordered games workshop got completely wrong, I find this kinda funny.
