Well since everyone is posting Ard Boyz lists and we are 3 months out, I thought I would post my Adepticon 1850 championships list since its only 5 or 6 weeks away. You can critique it thats fine, but the real reason to post is to have others post 1850 lists that they will be bringing. Since thee will be 240 people in this tourney there is a good chance we will never fight, but I am curious what others around the country will be bringing at 1850.

OK here is my best atempt at an all comers 1850 list that gives me the best chance to win with my playstyle.

Now I am curious if anyone else will post their list, perhaps you are unsure of what you are taking and you are waiting for divine inspiration to finalize your list. Well, put what you are thinking for right now. Just a few more weeks and Adepticon will be upon us so you should be close to finalizing.

I would throw all my regular strategy out the window and focus solely on phasing you out if i was your opponent. Only 2 scoring units @ 1850 is rather thin as well. Not trying to put the list down, but help make it better. Try to fit another squad of warriors in somehow.

I'm not fond of the dispersal of focus in this list. He's got the goalie (the Deceiver) + a Monolith. If the rest of the list was shooting it'd be a traditional cron list.

But then there's a fighting Warscythe Lord and 6 wraiths. That's like an assault cron list, but isn't enough on it's own, and is too fast for the Deceiver.

I feel like the list is trying to hit too targets, and will miss both. Go all assaulty, or all shooty except for goalie.

Never a competitive Necron list contains pariahs.

Nice list Norbu. I think you'll give a bunch of people trouble with this list. They won't practice against it and you know how to play it. Good Luck.

I played against that list with my Nurgle daemons at one of the AWC events, and lost to it. I don't know how it fares against other lists, but against my non-shooty, non-monolith destroying, non-deceiver hurting army, it did just fine

For Necrons at 1850, I would do something like this

Deceiver

7x Immortals
7x Immortals
7x Immortals

11x Warriors
10x Warriors

Monolith
Monolith
2x Tomb Spyders

Comes to 1846. You could drop a unit of Immortals to include a third squad of Warriors, but it depends on how afraid you are of objective missions.
