my friend and i have recently started playing 40k. the minuet i saw the orks and read their codex i fell in love. my friend on the other hand played the video game and wanted an army that had Grey nights, so he went for the daemon-hunters. we started buying our armys and after a while i ended up fielding a roughly 500 pts army and my friend had about 1200 (he obviously has a lot more money). normally i didn't have a problem, until he bought a squad of terminators. needless to say he wiped me out the first time he fielded them, and the second time, and every other time he has put them on the field. I've read up on how to beat terminators and pretty much everyone says burnas are bes but aside from that use a big mek with a SAG. the thing is that burnas only work on regular terminators because they have higher initiative (the power fists bring them to 1) and i dont have a SAG. so my question is this, how do i kill those terminators? 2+ armor with a nemesis force weapon that gives them, i believe +2 S, and no initiative reductions! please help.

A Nob Squad with a Warboss and Cybork bodies should be able to do it.
They only have a 5+ invulnerable if you can get through their armor. Or you could blast them to pieces with Lootas. If you put enough wounds on them they'll fail their saves eventually.

Nob squad- cybork bodies, waaagh banner, and some Power Klaws (3-4) should be able to take the termies on
You mitigate the termies High WS with the Waaagh banner. While S6 is good, it doesn't inflict ID on nobs and you have 5+ invul save. Hell go first, it'll hurt a little, then you'll cave his head in. Squad shoud probably be full-size or close to though or a lucky round of attacks will cripple you.

Ya lootas are really good vs them. As well as Power Claws.... 30 Man mob and one Claw usually can do the job.

Charge them with lots of boys or something like that and I beleive you have furious charge making you initiative 4 or 5 going at the same time or before them, hopefully killing them without too many casualties. However if they charge you they get 4atks with 2 weapons (true grit) and the extra one for charging and if he picks a Grand Master he gets 6atks with a force weapon, initiative 5 and 3 wounds, also he will have probably shot the storm bolters and incinerator killing everything, so the best tactic is get him before he gets you.

Fist off ork boyz only have I 2 and 3 on the charge but doesnt matter the number of attacks will destroy him. Second i am pretty sure that true grit doesnt allow any charging bonus so the attacks they have is what they get. I dont have the codex on me right now so cant verify 100%. If i am wrong anyone feel free to correct me.

It's not too hard for Hammerhand to hurt AV12 though. A sweet 10 point psychic power...

First off: lootas won't kill termies at long range. at 25-30+" Shrouding will make you unable to fire 40-60% of the time and they do have 2+ armor on top of that. and if you are closer then 20" he will charge and cream the lootas in CC
If he plays them correctly he will shoot Blessed Silver(psycannons) at you from beyond shrouding average (30")
Don't get in a shootout with him. you won't, repeat WON'T win. close to close combat range and leave the lootas at home. the best way for orks to kill termies is to swamp them with attacks.
GKs are vulnerable to numbers in CC. we can't win attrition battles, not enough bodies.
True grit makes SBs count as pistols, but dosen't give the bonus for charging. It also only applies to PAGK, not the Termies. the GK player will charge to make sure you don't get a charge bonus though.

I believe that the when it says that the rule only apllies to PAGK, then I personally think that the rule that the SB's are too unwieldy to use to charge with only applies to PAGK, because if you apply logic, then a GK Termie is going to be much sturdier and therefore be able to charge getting both bonuses whereas PAGK only get the one. You would probably have to check with your local GW though.

The book specifically states only GK models in PA get True Grit.
GKterminators have 2 attacks base so do get a charging bonus.
