Very suitable for Chaos and/or Undead armies. There is also mention of new Enigma figures on the way in the next couple of weeks. They do make some very beautiful and some highly original sculpts.

Does anyone have size comparison for these to GW stuff?

They'd be right on the money, given that GW's 28mm "heroic".

I'd need to find a 30mm model and a GW model I wouldn't feel bad photographing.

Neither one are happening

I've seen some of the enigma stuff and it is very big, typically a head or more taller than the GW chaos stuff

I've been dying to order this stuff, the models are beautiful. I know their stuff is resin as well. I am going to have to just break down and order already!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Then excellent as characters in ranks.

And the big dude with the axe and headstone really reminds me of Astaroth from Soulcaliber.

Another personal favourite is the dwarf smoking the pipe, Yúrgen, he'd be great standing over a line of dwarven warmachines.

The first guy has antlers, that's clearly breaching GW copyright as it's clearly a Nurgle thing and only GW daemons can have antlers. Clearly.

Reporting to GW HQ, C&D incoming in 3...2...

Enigma do great stuff. I was hoping for a new 54mm piece but anything new from Enigma is always good.

the 30mm stuff fits in just fine with GW scale...
some of the minis, such as the savage orc, are big, but not out of scale...

@dez: be careful what you expect, as the only thing that i have from them that is resin are the bases (i believe the accessories are too)...
all the figs i've ordered were metal...

love the sculpts, and the quality of the detail is exquisite...

cheers

You know that stopped being funny an awful long time ago, right?

Yes it did stop bing funny. GW does not need help giving out C&Ds, and if what you say is true why aren't deer and other animals with antlers getting C&D's?

Back on topic: Those models look sweet.

The thing that always stopped me to get enigma miniatures ( wich I love so much) is that the scale, even if said 30mm, I have the feeling they are much bigger than that.

William Shatner is a really funny guy.

I am glad the made a miniature out of his likeness. A very well painted miniature to boot.

Is there anyone out there that could provide some scale pics vs GW figs?

Hard to find but I look at the bases sizes and try to figure out mini size...

30mm base? if so this mini is about 4.5 or more

then I look at this dwarf and know 1cent has 16mm diametre and think the scale is ok and I get confused.

Since miniatures are far from cheap I do not risk getting them.

I have the figure w/ the head stone on his back. It is perfect "Chaos Champion" for size. Heroic Scale. The hobbit is a 54mm sculpt so at a different scael.

Yeah, Enigma Minis are pretty awesome. I've had one of their dwarves (Thorvin) sitting on my painting desk since Christmas (too much stuff!), but I'm not exactly sure how he compares to other dwarves in GW's scale. I could give size-comparisons next to some Ogres or Space Marines if you want.

Would be cool.

Ask and ye shall receive.

Power Armored Space Marine, Thorvin (Enigma Minis, Dwarf), GW Ogre. Just incase anyone was curious. Of course, I'm not sure how Thorvin himself compares to the rest of the Enigma line, so take what you want from this.
