Hi there.

I have been considering picking up a P.A.C.K. 216 for transporting my paints and WIP figures between my apartment and the basement where my local group meets up and games/paints. It wouldn't have to be big enough for the whole army, that's what I have my 1520 for (), but if it could fit 3½ inch of foam it would be just perfect since that means a hobby tray, a paint tray and a 1½ inch troop tray.

The website says it will only fit 3 inches, but in this video Romeo clearly fits 3 trays in there, one of which is larger than the two other (about 3 min into the video). Judging from the Flames of War part of his site it's 2x1'' trays and one 1½'' tray, so that would give a total of 3½'', although a bit crammed in there.

Does anyone own a 216 and if so, do you think it would be able to hold 3½ inch of foam? Wouldn't need to have the foam toppers in between layers, so that will save some room...

Cheers

- Gorlak

EDIT:
I stumbled across this thread where Romeo mentioned that they would be releasing "P.A.C.K. Mini" January 15th. Is this thing out and it actually is the 216, or will it be out later this year, because the description sounded a lot like the 216, but if an updated version is to hit the shelves within a month I might wait with my order

Gorlack, if you are in Europ create a helpdesk ticket on the Wayland site or call the warehouse on the About us page of the Wayland website and a member of staff will go through the sizes and options with you.

Was beginning to give up on this thread, but that just sounds amazing! Why is it that every time I deal with you guys (and I've traded a lot with you this past 6 months ) you manage to exceed my expectations for great customer service? but I will give your people a mail then. Thanks.

Cheers,

Gorlak

Hi Gorlack,, the best person to ask for in the Warehouse is Kris as he is the SME at the moment, and he has built a house out of the stacked foam and only comes out when a trail of foam is sprinkled about.
