I revised the list to give me some Tank hunting. I dropped Ghazzy and a Mega Nob and added 2 squads of DK w/ TL Rockets. Let me know what you guys think of the revision.

If your taking meganobz I would strongly consider mad dok because he can give any unit in the army cybork bodies. Meganobz have no invulnerable saves and against c.c units with power weapons or ap2 weapons they will just die or be instant gibbed.

Your list is lacking anti-tank,especially depending on how your local meta plays the deff rolla. And even with the KFF mek, I'm finding in the spam str 8+ style list fotm currently, the enemy typically has more than enough fire power to burn down BW without a lot of luck on our saves.

Burnas are awesome sauce against troops, not so much against troops in transports. If you find after a few matches you just can't get the transports opened up, you're going to have to add in some mix of Lootas, Deff Koptas, or war buggies.

Yeah, i was actually thinking about dropping a couple MANZ and adding in a couple deffkoptas for that turn 1 armor pop. Aside from that, they also provide a nice distraction so I can get everything in on without losing to much.

The turn that i assault with pretty much everything is the turn I use ghazzies Waaggghhh which makes everyones saves invluns anyway. After that assault, the MANZ will have done what they were going to do, so im not that concerned about losing models after that. Def an awesome idea, but i dont want to lose my KFF Mech or Ghazzy.

Another option that i was thinking about was adding some boarding planks to my trukks. Yeah this isnt the best option for anti tank, but it still gives me that option. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm pretty sure only Thraka's save turns invulnerable, otherwise I've been playing that way wrong.

As for the boarding planks, I have them, I use them, but I think you'll probably come to the same conclusion I have after testing: you simply must have ranged Anti-tank.

What could also work is to drop some vehikle upgrades in order to hand out soms krumpin' rokkit launchas for the trukks. You have enough anti-horde burning going your way, some maybe the meganobs should get some kombi-rokkit launchas (wouldn't suggest that though when there are other upgrades out there).

If you drop a few burnas, you can also add more rokkits that way, maybe throwing a kannon onto the battlewagons (the upgrade only costs 10 points and gives you an anti-tank and anti-infantry option rolled into one).

Remember, massing anti-vehikle fire is the only way orks can pop 'em from a distance.

Wow im not sure where i thought that his waaaghhh actually did that. My bad, just read the dex again.

Aside from that, no need to act like such asses just because i read the rules wrong.

Yeah i could prob throw some rockets on my Wagons and Trukks. I normally Move 13 inches a turn though so they might not help me to much. If i put ranged anti tank in here, it will probably be in the form of deff koptas.

That's okay. I initially interpreted Boss Snikrot's come from reserves rule as being able to come onto any table from any edge, meaning I could join another battle in progress on another table with just that unit.

They don't say anywhere that he must come onto your table edge, just from any edge of the table.

Good job for creative rules interpretation.

As others have mentioned buddy you've mis-read the rules. Cybork bodies are really required, or take normal nobz with a painboy and cybork bodies. Without cybork bodies either unit won't last against a dedicated assault unit, which is what exactly will be sent to counter them, or gun them down, which the cybork bodies still come in handy for.

Your meganobs are still going to die to a assault dedicated unit i.e terminators or even howling banshees which has been fortuned and the meganobz doomed, lol that would be funny.

I think you have double the amount of too many deffkopters. If you drop them you could possibly afford mad dok as a second HQ and get cybork bodies for thos meganobz which will make them last a whole long longer
