Hi all. Reading through the 'Nid Dex before I put together a HT, and I'm not sure if I'm allowed this:
- 2 sets of Twin-linked Devourers with Brainleech Worms.

Obviously, 1 set is no problem, but the 2nd set would replace another set of scything talons (of which the HT only has one set as standard).

Since the upgrade from lashwhip/bonesword to a 2nd set of talons is free, am I allowed to upgrade to the 2nd set, then replace those so I can get a 2nd set of Devourers? I'm not sure if it's legal or not, that's all.

Just remember not every unit has this option. For example, the Tyranid Prime's "2nd" Scything Claws have the restriction "these cannot be further exchanged", as do Warriors and Shrikes.
