yeah came on the site last week. shame they don't have any unpainted shots. They seem like better sculpts than those by chapterhouse.

The women heads are intriguing,but I have been tempted to get ahold of the commando heads w/ berets to use on a squad of Cadian vets.

Anyone done smilar or know of any pics floating around showing any of these heads on IG/Cadian torsos?

I have the commando heads, here are pics of them on Cadian and Elysian bodies.

Thank god someone is making female heads. I will have to pick up some and compare to the Reaper and Hasslefree heads. The Hasslefree ones seem better than the Reaper so far, but then I haven't really done much more than look at them.

It wasn’t meant to be a criticism of chapterhouse as I’m a big fan of what they do.

Most of my marine units are decked out with their pads and accompanied by converted rhinos.

Just meant that micro arts are better (maybe only until the mark two come out).

They look too big on Elysians because elysians are tiny... Anyone who owns some will tell you they are like children next to a cadian or catachan.

And they look bang on for the cadians, it's the 'neck' on them which is making them look odd, that's either a 'ball and socket' neck that needs filing down or a roll of blu-tac to hold them in place as a temp measure.

Yeah they look good, I think I would like a little more variety in the facial expression though.

Because they are new isn't an excuse to mediocrity, I like what chapterhouse does but their female are really ugly. I don't undertand why they sell them.

Back on topic, I don't really like the Rastafarian heads they look awkward but I love the wolf-like heads.

Scale looks a little off. Not sure if trimming the neck will look any different. Good sculpts though.

Actually, I think because they are new and small, the best service we can perform is honesty, rather then pandering (not that you were). These heads are better. Chapterhouse made some bad female heads. Pretty much everything else they have is top notch, and I'm sure the next batch will be too - but for now, in the very limited market for female mini conversion heads, nothing wrong with pointing out a superior product.

Now, in the market for Tyranid heads and shoulder pads...

Any of you guys in the states order directly from MAS? I can't seem to find a decent selection of their stuff over here... apparently the Warstore doesn't stock them as much.

I have ordered stuff from them direct, the shipping took a couple of weeks, but otherwise everything went well. The warstore used to stock some of their stuff, I think it was under a heading called "other companies interesting bits", but they may have stopped. I have been happy with their products, no complaints. I would also recomend Maxmini, I have ordered directly from them, their products are good and everything with the order seemed to go smoothly.

Like I was saying I meant no disrespect to chapterhouse’s sculptor after all their only trying to give us what we (including myself) have asked for. I think sculpting female heads has got to be the hardest things to do and I admire anyone who has a go.

Do we know if they are going to do anymore female torsos? I know someone did some cadian ones a while back but I never found the site that sold them

The thing people forget on forums is that all the pics shown are 2-3 times life size. We tend to notice and criticise details which would never be seen on the tabletop.
