The Concept.
****IMO****
First and foremost, Beastmen characters are rubbish (excluding certain special characters) They are overprices and unnecessary. Even the Mino variants take away the minotaur units ability to remain unfrenzied until required (a powerful tool indeed)
I thought an appropriate middle finger to this! Was running my scroll caddy as no less than my army general!! This little sucker can hide pretty easily, and hitch a ride with some dogs into some near by woods if the enemy has some far too lenient targeting abilities. Best thing about him, is I will make him god darn pain for the enemy to hunt, and after all that he will still only pass across a mere 225pts, including the bonus.
The Gorebull was applied to create a centre block with a much needed BSB, some decent hitting power and MOST Importantly, him and his unit some much needed Immunity to Psychology!! He was also recruited to sport the much required item, the Chalice of Rain! Having the army seething with chariots, expensive monsters and no ward saves/regeneration meant heavy shooting was going to have a field day if left unchecked. This little sucker should ensure the army isn’t watered down enough before it hits home. And should certainly give Jabberslythe a chance to chew some crew.
One of the best Beastmen unit entries is the Minotaurs, their biggest downfalls in my opinion is their blood greed rule, I needed to create a list with the minotaur hitting power still capable of running down every single one of the fleeing enemy units. With the four blocks of Minos supported by ONLY units capable of pursuing 3d6 inches I believe I achieved this. Each Minotaur unit supplemented with a tuskor chariot provides this ability as well as that extra punch. Unfortunatly their failure to cause fear will occasionally be an issue. It just so happens alot of these fear causing blocks don’t run, which negates thier purpose in this particular situation anyhow! So no worries there.
Jabberslythe were another entry I felt was important to compliment the list, running them in pairs will almost guarantee the shut down of gun lines and when that’s unnecessary (or complete) Its immunity to psychology, US5 and of course! Its 3d6inch pursue! Makes them formidable flankers, and yet another capable support unit for my minotaurs.
And the dogs… eh! They’re dogs… They will do what dogs do! Draw way too much enemy fire power and hold quarters worth three times their value. Its probably important to note, im well aware of the panic issues these boys can cause in this particular list. If this threat seems dire they will be well out of range of my minotaurs and chariots, don’t you worry!

You have no general... I guess you could count the Shaman but I wouldn't do that... You are going to want to take another character to fill that role (taking out a rare monster could get you some points for that). Since you are leaning toward Minos, another Gorebull should do. A Doombull if you can find (more) points and go overkill!

Full commands are a point sink. Adding the a general will make up of the Bloodkine attacks and then some. Also, shields are a bit pointless, do additional hand weapons instead, more killing power!

Taking out a chariot for points wouldn't be a terrible idea but the more the merrier!

I wrote the concept for the characters already. Really dont rate Beastmen characters, and dont want anymore than one frenzied unit of minos.

The shields are to hold the BSB, give it more survivability, He gives them an extra attack as it is, plus his own killing power, is more than enough.

Agreed on bloodkines, maybe i will drop the bloodkines and find points, although i do need some static res with the standards, as it is i dont have any throughout the army. I dont mind running just the two banners.

Thanks for the comments man.

I'd like to see how two jabberslythes would do This list has a lot of fast elements, followed by rock-hard units... I think it would be fun to play!

Someone needs to try one of these out and write up a minotaur-heavy bat rep

I will be! I've posted it three places and no one seems to be able to come up with any solid flaws in the army. Looking forward to proxying my ogres in some games with it.
