Well, there is one thing that came out in game today. I Wanted to get my infantry squad with autocannon out of shaken transport. BRB says that you have to place models within 2" from access point. Well HWT base is 2,5" so it is impossible to place it within 2". Hell, you cannot even make emergency disembark, because you still have to be within 2" from hull. So, my question is: Do you really have to have your transport blown up to leave it, or am i getting something wrong?

Take a look in the brb for a good example. If any part of the base is within 2" you are fine. You can have any piece of the base just barely within the 2 " and be legally disembarked.

Gwar: I'm going to quit while I can.

Meh, close enough

Just for clarity, any time you measure distances involving a model, you measure to the closest edge of the model's base.

When GW uses "within" when talking about distances, they use it in the sense of "within arm's reach", not "within my belly".

They gave a nice clear diagram at the front of the main rulebook in 5th.

I'm pretty sure you are keeping nice cut and paste answers for some of these.
