So anyone who has seen my intro knows i have some DE floating about cowering from the boltguns of my space marines!

However i am actually really digging them at the minute especially after narrowly loosing out to an ork player on sunday (by the skin of his teeth!).
Something that inspired me to actually start painting something other than the actual warriors and incubi. Both of which aren't especially hard to paint.

So i picked up my talos, sprayed him black and went to work. These are the final results!

In other news and returning to the topic at hand, very nice talos, although if it were me, I'd be darkening the gore on the claws and blades to differentiate it from the red of the bodywork. (unless it is different and it's just the way the picture came out).

You're probably right about the bloodied claws. I spent the least time doing those ( a quick drybrush of blood red) but i think some red gore and a little wash might make it a bit more interesting!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there's no paint job you could possibly come up with to make the Talos look cool. Then again, that's the problem with the entire DE model line. :(

The talos model has aged really well Compared to some other dark eldar models. Great paint job.

Yes, I don't think the Talos is that bad. Along with the Raider, it's actually one of the better Dark Eldar models. Good paint job too

I agree, the Talos and raiders are really the only things in the DE line that still look good to me. You did a fine job painting it, thats for sure
