Keeper of Secrets: Base for right now - 200 pts
10 Daemonettes: Base - 140 pts
5 Pink Horrors: Base - 85 pts
5 Pink Horrors: Changeling -90 pts
Soul Grinder: Phlegm - 160 pts
Not sure what to do with the remaining 75 pts, any help would be appreciated.

I will comment!
A solid start however you are really lacking in troops, as far as daemons go that is. Daemonettes and Horrors have good killing potential however... they lack survival skills. Being only T3 they will die to just about any ranged fire. And horrors die very verry quickly in close combat.
I would use the leftover points to bolster your horrors or perhaps add some plagebearers.
While a Keeper of Secrets is a good HQ at lower points i would also think that 2 heralds of slaneesh on chariots would work fairly well. On chariots they are toughness 4, 5 wounds, 6 attacks, a 4+ armor, and they recieve furious charge. All for 65 points. Pretty darn good, the only drawback is they lose IC status so you will need to protect them, But for 130 points you get 10 wounds and 12 attacks base for less points. Then you could add more troops, i would suggest more daemonettes as it flows with your list nicely.

Your suggestions sound great thanks, that also frees up another 70 pts if I get the heralds. So I coud do some Flamers or Fiends possibly.

It might be more important to consider how the army list is going to expand than to consider how it's going to start. Is this a 'grow to 2k by 250 point steps' escalation league or something different?

Well thats another good thing about using 2 heralds. They only count as 1 HQ choice so you can add your KoS later or whatever else you feel like adding.
I cant say i know a whole lot about escalation but i assume you cannot deviate from your original units? just build onto what you have?
