Eternal Plague

I recently bought a set of Tau figures and was trying to decide what to do with a paint scheme for them. My orks are all over the place with colors, but will be most browns and metal colors. Some SM I have are primed white, but I am on the fence as to painting them pink and calling them the Flaming Flamingos chapter . So white they shall stay.

As for the Tau, I glanced over their codex a bit and went into a Wal-mart looking for ideas for paint.

I stumbled upon this idea...

Using a black basecoating, I would spray over the model this type of spray paint...

It's a spray on paint for plastics that gives an interesting black with gritty feeling and silvery flecks. I used it on a Tau model with black primer and got this result...

I hope these pictures give you the idea, because I liked the way this spray paint gives off that look of darkness with tiny shiny pieces scattered about.

Has anyone else tryed this line of paint strays on their models? So far I like the looks of it.

You can save an extra step and not prime the plastics.

That is afterall what Fusion is made for.

I'm tempted to try some of the more colory ones as a base for airbrushing.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.
