My brain exploded with an idea. I'm going to host another 40k themed Mafia game, but there's a reason I'm not calling it "Drk_O's Genestealer Game 2".

There will be no Imperial or Genestealer roles (and no Night Lords Assailants). I'm not going to specify which races will be in it, but I encourage wild speculation. You won't know until you get your role PM's

Ohhh and those of you who played my previous game will be happy to know that there will be no Mod Characters. However, I am continuing random events again. I am going to decide them during the Night phase. Day 1 will be random event free.

I'll keep the roles to myself again. But there will be Pro Town, Town, anti town and pro anti town roles, and a Renegade if numbers are good.

So if you're interested, join up or speculate. Or both?

When we have enough, I'll start the game 7 days after it.

NOTE I'm rewriting most of the roles, at the moment, only the townsfolk and the infiltraters are the same so far

The PM also said I was pro-Imperium, which normally would cause me to be voted off as it wouldn't help any suspicions and everyone knows i'm innocent. However the Genestealers decided to go suicidal after that.

I'm hoping for Tau from before the time of the Ethereals, we'll be Fire Caste, but some of us are Water Caste assassins! And one of us is an Ethereal and will cause us all to have a big Commie hug part way through the game.

I'm interested...but not entirely sure. Does it still work along the same vein of vote ect? Or is this different?

It's exactly the same as Genestealer, only the roles are not Imperial and Genestealer. I'm making new-ish roles based on the old ones, but with some differences to what they can do based off the Unit inspired the role.

An extreamely overpowered example would be a Space Marine renegade role, but instead of killing a single player during the night phase, he gets unlimited Day Lynches because he happened to have a chainsword in hand.

When I start the game thread, I will reveal the town and anti town races. I haven't decided whether to reveal it to either having the thread title "Drk_O's 40k Mafia Theme Game (Insert town race here) vs (Insert anti town race here)" or stating it somewhere in my first post.

The Renegade Role will be revealed at the will of the player, or upon death. However, on day 3, you'll start finding clues. They will go from "Some of the markings on the corpse are different to the ones on (character who dies in the first story post) to "The corpse has what looks to be a crude weapon stuck in their head. You could swear you've seen it before" to "It was an Ork" depending on how long they live.

Down the line, I might make a free-for-all version. Which I think would be pretty interesting.
