I am having one of those DUH moments right now, or Brain Fart moments. In the point cost section of the Tyranid codex, under options for the Tyrannofex, where I replace Acid Spray, can I have both Fleshborer hive and Rupture cannon, or I can only have a Fleshborer hive or a Rupture cannon.

I guess I confusing myself because when reading the electro shock bugs rule, it said basically a MC can basically fire 3 weapons wich electro shock bugs are included. So I thought great I can fire Fleshorer hive, rupture cannon and electro shock bugs all in the same turn on the same mini. I think this is wrong.

So is this the only way it's suppost to work for the Tyrannofex, is to shoot the electro shock bugs, a Fleshborer hive or Rupture cannon and a Stinger salvo or cluster spines?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

I am quoting this for truth. (See, I can occasionally share sentiment with you, TopC )

You can't have a Fleshborer Hive AND a Rupture Cannon, it's one or the other (which replaces the Acid Spray).

T-Fex loadout would be:
- Acid Spray OR Fleshborer Hive OR Rupture Cannon
- Thorax Swarm
- Stinger Salvo OR Cluster Spines

The T-Fex could shoot all 3 weapons in the same phase though (2 because it's a MC, and the Thorax Swarm counts as an additional weapon).

Only reason i can see the Tyrannofex being in any ones list is the Rupture Cannon's 2 shots at Str10 ... Other options can be done better by other (normally cheaper) units.

Thanks guys for answering the question. Yeah I was asking if I can have both, or is it just one or the other.

Darn, now to think what to have. The reason I was thinking of using the Rupture Cannon was for anti tank and not be affected by psychic hoods or what ever can cancel phychic powers and making Zoanthroaps obosolete. But that is for another topic eh?
