While I do despise having two armies up at the same time, (I apoligize dakka) I have been out of the alaitoc game for so long, and in the competitive feel, I would like some help for a friendly list, that will have an ok time tearing others a new one, due to a wierd friendly-competitive hybrid deal that my main enemies tend to lean towards. C&C will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I fear the incredible lack of AT, I have basically any model you might suggest (not including aspect warriors, I have a few more dire avengers, and 10 fire dragons, thats it, oh and 6 Dark Reapers, [2 Exarches, 4 reapers] :(.................)

How does it seem as far as sticking to the alaitoc theme, not that it really matters, my usual list is 5 man dire avenger units, blah blah blah, yriel in a seer council, war walkers and such. Though I think this will be a fun mix-up, and I will get some use out of some of my older models, I miss alaitoc... Anyway, again, thanks in advance.

Silly me, I wrote the list, but gave you no insight as to how I use it.

I usually deploy my rangers in a large piece of terrain, the guideseer will be attached to them, guiding one unit. The scorpions will be in the terrain with them, or outflank, depends on if I need a counter-assault unit or not. The warwalkers, the vypers, and the Dire avengers with the guide/doom seer will form the heavy hitting side of the force, and will try to bunch up on the enemies weak flank, and work its way killing enemies. Well, thats everything, looking forward to your advice.

I'd drop the 2nd Farseer and one Pathfinder unit in order to add an Avatar or a Harlequin unit with a Shadowseer.

I would prefer the harlequins, seeing as they would make a better counter-attack unit then the avatar, though would they really be worth a little over 1/3 of my (well, frankly rather poor) fire base? My flanking wing usually distracts the enemies from my based units. =P, though I can understand whre you're coming from, is the extra counter-assault unit neccesary?

I was just wondering one thing, what does this list do to a landraider crusader packed with terminators? Because if I fielded a landraider, i'd drive the thing right down your.... :p

Yeah... I was thinking about this, and only two of my opponents even own a land raider, but, if they use it, I am screwed... The farseer is the only thing that can even hurt it, and I would have to roll incredibly...

What if I...:

Dropped a warwalker

Dropped the vypers

Added in 5 fire dragons in a plain wave serpent with ShuriCannons and SS.

Gave the dire avengers a TL-bright lance.

Got RoWarding.

Hrmn... i'll miss that warwalker if I do it, that's for sure.
