first off i think they're are WAY to many things to do with space marines..gw should really try to make it all even..anyways, im currently trying to decide a new army..i've been collecting for a while and i have like hundreds of unpainted models..nothing can keep my interest, any ideas of a new army i should start and can tell me about the army..like for inpiration?? would be much appreciated (please no space marines...i don't want to become a marine player..they are to generic now)

I've been toying with the idea of a mechanized imperial guard with artillery to back it up. Take about 6 medusa's with every squad in platoons having a chimera. In a 1750 list you end up with tons of tanks running around and dropping S10 pie plates all over the place. Just the thought of dropping pie plates from long range seems fun to me.

My friend has recently started a Chaos Imp Guard army.
Looking very impressive so far and you dont see too many of them around.

Theres tonnes of conversion potential (if you have the funds mind) and it could be a stand alone army or an addon to your daemons/CSMs.

Well if you dont like MEQ's then you may want to go with Eldar. They are extremely fast and can lay down some fire they also have cc potential. I wouldn't go guard you can basically either do one of two things shoot at a distance or run up close and shoot. Also eldar are colorful and you can do any scheme you want also with a variety of different unit's they should keep you involved even with a short attention span (Guard have about 100 of the same/similar models). Eldar also look alot better then guard imo.

Your right about the imp guard, they are all to alike, eldar um i dunno are they really good or worth it? i was figuring id do Choas, Orks, or eldar but i have no idea how to weather armor and i dont think an orks armor would be the cleanest haha, i like a really clean look so maybe eldar are the way to go, but i like the orks and chaos, lol I could do all three i suppse

I don't understand what you mean by Marine players being "too generic now" as they have more options than ever. We have no idea what kind of army you want to play, or what kind of armies you've thought about playing in the past. There's always a new build or army type to try out.

Hey sorry about my sub-par writing my keyboard is a ripe piece of sh!t some of the buttons dont go down when i type, i think i need a new one anyways. Its just i dont want to do space marines or space wolves cause everyone i've met is doing them, I wanted to be a bit more unique and not fall into the sm pool, id love to do orks but as i said i hate weathering them, not a fan of dirty armor. past armies ive wanted to battle with were necrons eldar sister of battle, but i never got around to it cause i changed my mind to often, i may try to get back with necrons or just give up and do space wolves or dark angels, unless i can make a clean ork army.
