I believe this make you the unluckiest bastard in the world if you get eaten by one.

What is it with the god-damned oriental markets? What will stop their crazed obsession with killing anything rare to extract some tiny piece of it for eating or giving the missus one in the sack.

What the feth is wrong with those people.

Shark fin soup... by all accounts it tastes like gak yet they are driving species like the great white to extinction.

Eating tigers dicks to get hard. Grinding their bones to make wine.

Bear's gall bladders to cure alcoholic liver damage...

@MGS - Totally, it's all a load of mumbo-jumbo. Why is it never a DOG'S pancreas that cures male-pattern baldness, or like, a rabbit's small intestine.

p.s. Is it wrong that I'm slightly disappointed that this isn't some sort of 'supremacist' thread?

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

If it helps I was sitting behind a huge pale silver haired guy on the buss. Give him a beard and chain mail and he would have been some sort of Norse chieftain.

By all means be disappointed, but you should know by now that I'm a fairly moderate kind of chap

Back on topic, you never see Greenpeace bend over backwards to stop sharks being over fished do you? Too obsessed with whales and dolphins because they look like they're smiling.

Blimey, first you start listening to the BBC, now you're using public transport... we'll make a "leftie" out of you yet.

Greenpeace seems to think its a problem too. Reality is Greenpeace gets media where it can, and it's much easier for nice animals.

http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/blog/oceans/why-charisma-matters-20090625

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Theres that few left? I want one that shoots lasers before they die out. That or get one as a pet. EEEEEny way. I'm for supporting keeping these majestic bloodthirsty beasts around if the groups can prove the funds are actually going to this cause and having some good. Better than saving those tastey dolphins that belong in my "tuna" sandwich.

The greater good needs some moo.
