I guess it's because I've become something of a Narc, and fairly quick to click that triangle, but it'd be nice to have some indication that I've already notified a Moderator about a post. Would it be possible to change the icon to show a notified post a la the read/unread icons or is that an unfeasible pipe dream?

The extra database lookup on every single page / every single thread would hit the server too hard so not going to happen. There are ways I could optimise around it, but it would be too much work for too little gain.

maybe any alert mods posts should/are cordoned so that they only get the first couple.

i.e. if someones complaining about jimmy saying rude words, the first three complaints are noted (from different users)
