Bloodbowl on the 360 has been sucking my life away for the past week. Its a really great game. Almost a straight conversion to video game with gameplay exactly as with the current ruleset right down to the single player campaign. Even the computer is competent at the game if not a superior opponent.

But no ongoing league rules online? Sort of like what's made Fumbbl.com so successful all these years? WTH?

THAT was a big mistake by the developers in my honest opinion. The shelf life of this game could be SOOOO long with ongoing campaign rules on XBox Live. The idea of ongoing league play with matchups based on team rating is so obvious I cannot fathom what the developers were thinking when they skipped it. Its half of the fun of Blood Bowl...developing a team.

Lazy, simply lazy. No excuse. When this game dies off and disappears from everyones screens, this will be the reason.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

Should I still get it? I think it is what the girlfriend intends to surprise me with on PC as a modest birthday present this coming March. I could maybe start talking about how much I want a Vermin Lord for my Skaven army if it isn't worth it.

It's still a great game. The single player campaign is immense fun.

Its a crying shame of a missed opportunity in multiplayer however.

Why would a fringe game get huge support?
