1850 Ork list

HQ- Big Mek, KFF, burna, cybork 115 points

HQ2- Big Mek, KFF, armor, cybork 100 points

Troops

11 orks, (1 rokkit, nob with PK/BP...possibly nob holding the rokkit), 116 points
Trukk with rokkit, ram 45 points
(Six units like this) 966 points
(trukks also have armor plates +60 points)

Fast Attack

3 warrbugies with TL rokkits. 105 points

5 deffkoptas with TL rokkits (one buzzsaw) 250 points (two units)

Just shy 1850, the plan is to zoom around the board and shoot rokkits at things. It's downfall is that it is an extremely fragile list unless you are REALLY good with your cover saves....on that note, I've found that I really hate it when my ork trukks get stunned, and in this list, where the plan is to hover at 24" for a turn then zoom up and WAAAGH, getting stunned would throw a massive wrench in that plan. It also has no staying power, and no real answer to TH/SS. This is mostly me wondering exactly how many rokkits I can fit into 1850 on vehicles and under a Force-Field.

It has 12 rokkits, and 13 twin linked rokkits...is this enough firepower, or not enough?

Opinion:
Love the idea and the composition so far but I found a couple of mistakes in this list:
1. have only 2 units have 11 members in it, others might aswell have 12, to not flee when the trukk explodes. The squads with 11 boyz, should be accompanied by a big mek, to go and have a ride.
2. Take off the armor plates, they give virtually nothing IMO and can be switched in for more useful upgrades like: reinforced ram and the boarding plank, RPJ is not essential, since trukks are fast vehicles. Since you already have rams, take the plank and make use of the 30 points to maximise the boy squads.

Well I couldn't find more flaws in this list as rokkit buggies and deffkoptas are both amasing shock troops. Maybe split the squads up for less problems with leadership (I mean the koptas, you get hit once, you run off the board, then you can at least keep 1 squad.).

Hope I helped!

Orks - REPAINTED into Ice world orks DA BLOO TIDE WAAAAGH! - around 2k pts.

CSM - Nurgle - - around 700 pts.

I'm glad to see this list, since I'm now painting up a rokkit-buggy squadron myself. I had totally forgotten that trukks could even take rokkits. I'm not sure it's the best way to go - buggies with rokkits cost 5 points less and are TL - but good luck, and let us know how it works!
