I'm a heavy 40k player, and I play fantasy every now and then too. I've been playing both of those systems for over 5 years, and want to start a cryx army. I dabbled in cygnar before a couple year ago back in MK1 and never really got into it. But, now I'm thinking about getting back into it with cryx.

So here is a list of models/units that I think look cool and would really like to use. However, I do want to be competitive since there is a large warmachine/hordes tournament scene in my area, so if it's not possible to field everything I want and still be competitive so be it.

I would prefer to use lich lord asphixious as my caster to start.

Lich Lord Asphixious needs lots of quality melee infantry to bring back for his feat he also needs Warjacks that are fairly independant as he needs all his Focus for spells. In all honesty I wouldn't play him in a Tournament in a sub 50 point army.

This list plays to all of Asphixious's strengths. It lacks a little finesse and could do with some support units such as arc-nodes and support solos. It would make a good core for a much better 50 point list.

I think I would rather have 2 nodes and a slayer then seether and cankerworm...

You will need something to take out heavys, but that is what the banethralls are for...

If there are leftover points maybe a machinewraith or a skarlock...

Cankerworm with Gaspy is fun and can do some decent damage to lighter heavies. And I love grab and smash on a seether.

I was thinking about running something like at 35...
