9.20am.....Snow on the ground.....no one else has arrived.....I'm all alone in the car park......today is a good day to do battle.

This is a wee shout out to all the folks who made it to dominion day in Ballymena, it'd be great to see more banter from you on the dakkadakka. For those of you who don't know, a club in the North of Ireland hosted a one day tournament. 18 of us showed up, three clubs from the North and the South of Ireland were represented and I would judge that a great day of warhammer was had by all! A great thing about this day was that it was a small, local event. No major sponsors, no hassle and tournament pressures, just folk who love the game and are happy to put pain in their brain and play 3 battles in one day!

Here's a pic of the overall, and I'll give three battle reports of how I did in my games...I didn't win, but I had fun!

It is good to see that the event took place, and by the looks of it heavily supported by our closest neighbours in the Republic.

There was talk about me and a few friends attending, although but unfortunately they went back to universally and sadly I could not take part this time around and I'm already getting excited in regards to Q con this year what about yourself .

So hopefully this is the first of many such events planned so big well done to all.

I must admit I did not know that.

Although there was plans to making it a two-day event with both Warhammer and 40k this year

I'm one of the few who wasn't in that photo....prob cos I was behind the camera!

I love how Darragh (is that his name?) on the pictures left foreground is checking line of sight even before deploying his troops! Talk about a serious tourney player! I suppose he did win for a good reason!

Love live Dominion Day!

[edit: on closer inspection the line of sight dude appears to be Darrell, also milking every angle! Twas a great day all in all]
