So I figured Id put these up and share some of my projects with you guys....

Won the Glendale Warpstone Painting Comp with this guy, his eyes light up but unfortunatley the staff were so excited they ended leaving the eyes on for a few days straight and it needs some a new battery more pics when thats swapped....Anyone else enter this comp? Im curious to see what the results are....







Just got these Beastmen yesterday and working on putting together an all impact hit Beastman Fantasy Army......hard not to jump on the bandwagon with these guys the models are just too good.....

I think that even with a paintjob as nice as yours, anyone calling the new Beastmen models good needs their head examined.

In your defense, that's the closest I've seen those models come to looking good, so maybe you know something we don't.

Hahaha I have a soft spot for the beastmen I always Have.....note ungor models may be the most hideous thing GW has ever produced but I see potential in the Minotaurs....maybe I do need my head examined lol

I agree the new Beastmen models are amazing, even the obviously (but purposefully) hideous ungors are still awesome, they look exactly the way they should. I entered (and won) the warpstone competition as well, though I haven't posted pics and won't yet since I didn't get a chance to finish the Trygon Prime to my standards. Thats sad considering it was still better than the rest and still got plenty of compliments... I'll post when it's finished which will undoubtedly be a while with all the projects I currently have. I also just brought home the doom bull prize form the minotaur painting contest, I only painted one but I'll have pics up in a separate thread soon.

I too think the new beastmen stuff is unfairly maligned. The models are great, but the way the 'Eavy Metal team chose to paint them was daft, especially the minotaurs.

Im actually pretty please with the yellow given the 24 hour time frame.....wh you win some you lose some...

In regard to the GW paint scheme for the Beastmen...Im not to into it at all juiced Guido looking dudes with cow heads was not what I was expecting.....GTL.
