If I remember correctly, the Ork codex says that only one mob of boyz can be outfitted in 'Eavy armor, for 4 points a model

Would it be fair to my opponent in a casual game, and if my opponent agreed, if I could give any and all of my Boyz 'Eavy armor for 6 pts a model?

I personally wouldn't care, but it's something you would just have to agree upon with your opponent before a game.

I as an ork and other player wouldnt have a problem with that at all. The cost should be 10 points per model though. That's what it costs normally for 'ard boys.

The normal cost is 4 points, at least in the newest codex it is.

Yeah, 6 points for boyz and 4 points for the upgrade of 'eavy armour. . .so 10 points a model.

Oh my mistake, people don't usually phrase it that way.

It's cool, and oh i forgot to put in my opinion. Seeing as my only army is orks I wouldn't care, as long as my orks can all get the upgrade too. . .

It's not such a powerful option that it should be limited. My old namesake, Skarboyz, were fantastic (S4 boyz), so I could see why they would be restricted. Man, I wish they would bring Skarboyz back... and Cyborks (S4, T5, 5+ Invulnerable).

I agree, I think it would be fine, and fair really. Getting a 4+ save isnt game breaking, specially when your boyz are now 10pts a pop instead of 6. That really adds up in the end. And seeing as most armies will laugh at a 4+ save. I think we should be able to use it that way anyways. I can see Orks strapping steel on themselves anyways
