I'm gonna start working up to build myself a shiny new Guard army, and I wanna carry them around properly. I refuse to buy another GW case, as its been nothing but issues and I'm glad to be rid of it. So I'm looking at Feldherr cases (as I saw a link for them on here actually), and they are priced very nicely, and look good, but I want your opinions on them before I shell out a few hundred, as IG will take up multiple cases. Do they offer any protection, like a thin layer of hard plastic on the inside like Battlefoam? That is a definite need, as my friends tend to stack their cases up in the van and go on trips, and things near the bottom get crushed. Or are they just canvas bags with foam in them? Because I want good protection, and cases that show that I'm taking my army seriously, but I really don't want to spend twice as much for something like Battlefoam unless it really is the best option.

Battlefoam in my opinion is the best option.

Do you have a retailer near you that sells these, Inquisitor Lord Bane? It looks like they're based overseas, so it could be hard to get...

I'd definitely be interested in seeing these in person if there is a retailer in the states that stocks them.

Edit: Their store locator isn't giving me anything in the states... unless I'm not using it right...

No FLGS near me sell either of them, so no, seeing them in person is an option, that's part of why I'm on here asking you guys. Im trying to find someone who has one or the other, but no luck so far.

I feel like after international shipping on these you're not going to save that much over BF (which just dropped their prices on some bags)... but I'd definitely love to see someone who has one of these. Talk about style!

Hi !
Feldherr cases are good products, made from quality materials in Germany. I have 2, and i'm happy of them.
However most of them do not include hard plastic plates (mini / medium / maxi / backpack). They are intended to be lightweight, and for gentle uses, such as carrying your figurines on foot.

They do have sturdy & secured cases for the use you spoke about about, see "hard case" L & XL.

Hi -

Is it just me or do those Feldherr Hard Cases look like plastic file tote boxes ??

If so, maybe just order the foam trays and save yourself the international shipping costs.

But, why not just avoid it completely and get a BattleFoam bag ? They have the hard plastic protective lining you are looking for, too.

Good luck with your decision !!

I love my Feldherr case, its well constructed and looks very nice. I bought the MINI plus 64 figure case and will look to Feldherr for any cases I need in the future.

Centurion.

I always carry three magazines. One to get me to cover. One to put up a spirited defense. And one to get me to where I left my weapon.
