Sacrifice to the Dark Gods

I posted this on Warseer, but I'd love to get some opinions over here too!
"Just had a great game vs a Space Wolves player at our club, close match with a lot of casualties on both sides!
My question is this - do cyberwolves count as killpoints for the purposes of annihilation? I wiped out the cyberwolf bodyguard accompanying the Iron Priest, leaving only the single Iron Priest standing, so I was thinking that 1 kp.
We agreed otherwise, leaving it as 5KP to Eldar, 6KP to Space Wolves, as my opponent informed me that they merely count as wargear, so they do not confer any KPs.
What are your thoughts on this?"

The Cyberwolves that accompany an Iron priest are not wargear, they are a model in the unit, that said, there's no difference between an Iron Priest and 4 cyberwolves and a Tactical Marine Sergeant with 4 Tactical Marines.
The Iron Priest isn't an IC and his unit isn't a retinue, they are just a single standard unit.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

An Iron Priest with Cyberwolves is One KP, because the IP is not an IC.

Yep, so you guys reached the correct result (no KP awarded) through the wrong reasoning. For some reason people have a hard time realizing that the Iron Priest is not an IC.

Me: I can turn it down, if the screams of dying orks are annoying you.
Her: That's ok, I love hearing the screams of dying orks.
My armies (W-D-L):
2,000 (about 1,200 painted and now I'm feeling the call of Russ) 3-4-3
2,000 (about 1,000 painted, WiP) 0-1 |

Yeah they're not wargear but he's not an independent character so they're just one squad.
