Subject: multiple weapons on a warlord?

looking at the rules for titans (specifically the warlord and emperors) im wondering if the titans can take multiples of the same weapons?
for example, 2 volcano cannon arms or 2 melta cannon arms?
to me, it seems theres nothing saying one way or the other in either set of rules...

I lean towards saying it can't take duplicate weapons because of the wording "two weapons from the following list" although I can't really explain it, it just seems to me that that is saying to make 2 seperate selections from the list.
Of course, as standard with Apocalypse it really is a matter for you and your opponent.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I agree with you there Drunkspleen, if it were to allow you two of the same, it would have said "Any two from the following list".
In any case, yeah, it's Apoc.

I would say why not, again, as it's apoc. My question woudl be why?
Titan weapons are lethal enough on their own that by having two of the same surely you are just limiting your options.
Bearign in mind that titans can fire at multipe targets, each turn you coudl hit a tank with an AT gund and then muller infantry with an AI gun?
just my 2p.

Two weapons the same still satisfies "two weapons from the following list".
Specialising a titan seems like a poor proposition though.

Yeah, I think that GW intended us to spread out our weapon choices.
However, as others have said, it's Apoc.
A warhound with 2 turbolasers is a nasty piece of work.

You're not specializing if you're stacking strength D weapons on a titan.
They do a good job of killing everything. (probably too good of a job)
I'm not sure you'll find anyone that plays with titans in 40k or Epic that thinks that the mechanicum builds them with a mandate to not duplicate weapon systems on a given platform.
The entire reasoning behind titans as weapon platforms is that they're modular and can be re-configured for specific roles on the battlefield.
