Was wondering how many turns it usually takes and any other details because i would like to start some footslogging orks but i've never seen them in action.

On the rare few occasions that I've played them, I can usually get them stuck in by turn 3, depending on deployment and terrain. That being said, if you're running footslogger boyz, give them shootas and big shootas and max them out for squad size. That way they make up for the disacdvantage they have to slugga boyz in trukks.

Things I've gotten other players to admit...

Against a ranged gunline, typically round 3 is when my boyz get to charge. Round 2 if I'm extraordinarily lucky or something forces my opponent forward. Against an opponent who also comes forward, round 2 is when assault happens. When I run my biker nobs, they assault turn 2 against any opponent (what with being able to move and charge 42" in that time.)

Hm, depends on who I versus. Against gunline armies, turn 3 is the earliest, assuming everything doesnt get blasted off the board, and Snikrot arrives Turn 2 (which he usually does. It's just devastating if I dont make those reserve rolls).

Against other assault armies, or armies that need to drive forward, turn 2 quite comfortably.
