Hi guys,
I have just orderd my self the following:
Iwata Studio Series Sprint Jet compressor
&
Paasche Talon 3F Airbrush (with all 3 heads)
I was just wondering if anyone could advise on how good these are. This is my first real airbrush kit, my previous being used just for basecoating. I decided to get a decent one for doing some fine detail work and was after some advice about the ones I have ordered from people who have experienced them.
I plan to paint my imperial guard army, including my numerous tanks with this kit and hopefully I have chosen a decent kit for the job, but any advice you can give would be greatfully appreciated.

I ended up speaking to the rep from the company I purchased this from and he advised me that the Paasche is a bit of a problematic airbrush.
After a long and very interesting discussion with him, I ended up ordering the Iwata Eclipse CS, which is apparently a much better airbrush but also ends up saving me money compared to the Paasche and it also comes with a 10 year warranty.

I have the Iwata Eclipse CS also... with the Iwata Smart Jet; so far a winning combo for me.

I have the same air compressor and an Iwata airbrush, not the same model but I don't recall which. It's a bottom feeder rather than a top like yours, which I wish I had. You'll have to let us know how you like it when you get it.

Well my new airbrush and compressor arrived yesterday. I got it built and tested and it appears to be very customizable with so many options that as a newcomer to airbrushing I am almost overwhelmed.
The compressor is exceptionally quiet as well, so I am pleased with that.
I will be doing some tests on paper tonight with the brish to get the feel for it and all going well I will be doing my first couple of models tomorrow.
I will start with my Imperial Guard tanks, but will also give it a whirl with some of my troops to see what level I can get them to with the airbrush.
I will update with my progress if folks are interested.

I have the Paasche Talon and haven't had any problems with it so far. I only use the .25 needle for it.
