This is my first all comers list, i'm normally just against orks, so would appreciate feed back.

Vox - reroll on orders to themselves

Vets = 95

Vets = 115
3x plamsma

Chimera - hvy bolter + hvy Flamer
Stubber or Dozer blade - not sure which

Marbo = 65

500 pts is a bit tough, but I guess instead of vets in the chimera, i would grab a PCS and have 4 flamers in there (no point on vet upgrade from bs 3 to 4 w. flamers) and grab 2 squads of guard for the same amount of points. Also, the plasma gun vets might do well in a Chimera.

I know what your saying about the BS4 with flamers, it is a waste but my problem is an infantry platoon is 130 points with no upgrades. For the same points you can have a vet squad fully kitted out with speacials and heavy weapon.

although more bodies might be an idea. I'll have a play around, probably have to drop two vet squads to fit an infantry platoon in though. Not sure if I like that idea.

I think it looks pretty good, I would choose the dozer over the stubber to make sure your flames make it to the target. I think you're right about vets over platoons at this point lvl. More firepower.

Alexpenn: As promised I tried to re arrange stuff to include a infantry platoon and a chimera for the plasma vets but I don't think I like what and I came up with

I get an extra AC but i'd probably need it because of BS drop. Less GL's and no Marbo, I only get 4 more bodies but I do get an exta chimera. I think this list would be better anti horde than my original but I think the original is better balanced and more able to take on MEQ (mainly because of marbo).
