I'm deciding which army I should do for LotR. Uruk Hai, or the Harad. I can't seem to decide.

Yeah they are pretty bad . I was thinking of doing them, but then I started looking at the harad and there pretty sick too. Especially the olophant.

I started out with uruks, but there now seems to be more range for Harad armies. Considering the fact they now have two Nazgul for them, it is very tempting.

Yeah it is. But actually I found out that in WotR you can have an Uruk hai army with the allies being the harad. Or the other way around.

Harad and Isengard are my 2 only armies. I choose Uruk-hai. They are easier to paint and are a bit more straight forward. They can do more, sure Harad has more bows but how much can they do?

Just my opinion.

Isengard for sure. in skirmish, captain spam is the way to go. in war of the ring, a nice fat block of swords with a shaman will really rack up the kills fast. Plus trolls make all arguments against uruks invalid.

My Armies:
2500 pts [very little paint]
3 battlesuits

I play both, but harad kicks butt more than isenguard. I played with harad against isenguard and won but then played with isenguard versus harad and lost. I reckon it was the army, it couldn't have been that my opponent was better than me, no no no, my ego won't have it.

OK, reviving the three-month old thread which has obviously lost of purpose was a pretty stupid idea.

Uruk Hai FTW!!

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

Cryo, you know better than to encourage threadomancy.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
