Hey I've got an (old) Land Raider (Crusader) question for the Black Templars.

RAW they don't have Assault Vehicle, so you can't assault out of them if they move. This is disadvantageous for obvious reasons, and I know lots of people think this is a stupid situation, but nevertheless this is the case. But not everyone plays it that way, hence my question.

So my question is, how do you play the LR/LRC for the Black Templars? How have you seen most people play them, especially @ tourneys, etc?

Just curious to see what the consensus outside my gaming group is. (In my group we agree that it has the Assault Vehicle rule; though probably the only thing outside RAW and English FAQs that we allow)

I would play it as having the Assault Vehicle rule in the unlikely event that I find myself across the table from one.

I would, but then again I let my DA buddy use 3++ storm sheilds etc from the new C:SM. That being said, if there is any other differences in same-name wargear you better be prepared to play those items as they are listed in the C:SM as well. If you want to use the updated stats, then I would only allow it if you used all the updated stats - no picking and choosing.

It does not have the rule, so it can not use it.

Never, ever, ever seen anyone denied the use of it as a standard LR, i.e. with the Assault Vehicle rule. this includes tournaments and friendly / pick up games.

Agree with the above, RAW you cant, but I'd allow it.

Also, IIRC inat faq specifically allows it.
