I was having some thoughts about one of my oldish codex, (Templars), as the new Blood Angels were coming out soon, and was trying to think of a good list to use now in 5th ed. Before, hopefully, a new Templar codex comes out.

This is what I came up with. C&C welcome and ,preferably, no saying it won't work and not give advice. Every bit helps.

Templar Mechanised List =1750

HQ = 271 pts
Master of Sanctity: Terminator honours, bionics, bolt pistol
Emperor’s Champion: AACNMTO

Elite = 380 pts
Assault Terminators: 5 Terminators, Twin Lightning Claws, Furious Charge
Dreadnought: Venerable, Twin linked lascannon, missile launcher, Tank Hunter

Troops = 686 pts
Crusader squad: 10 Initiates (bolters), plasma gun
Rhino
Crusader squad: 10 Initiates (CC), melta gun, power fist
Rhino
Crusader squad: 10 Initiates (CC), melta gun, power fist
Rhino

Heavy Support = 410 pts
Predator Annihilator: Twin Lascannon, side sponson Lascannon
Land Raider Crusader

Plan is to have Chaplain, Champion and Terminators in Crusader with Rhino’s moving out to
A) Secure objectives at late in game
B) Provide fire support/multi charging and
C) Giving opponent more targets
The Venerable Dread and Las Predator will aim at enemy armour.

Side Note, L33t points without Heavy Support.

Your anti-tank units became high-value targets themself for enemy's anti-tank units, because of their high costs and low count(1 and 1).

The chaplain is a waste for termies.

Any suggestions on what to take instead of small anti tank and chaplain?
