Why did a thread posted in the appropriate sub category get locked?

I'm looking through all the topics in the Off Topic Forum section and there are lots of topics that have nothing to do with "toy soldiers," but they aren't locked.

I didn't curse, Post bad pics, talk about illegal stuff, or even pretend to be thinking about being rude. But the first thread I start with a real question that I really didn't know anything about, and it gets locked.

Honestly.

Can I get a justification, other than just some good old fashioned Underoos get good old fashioned twisted up someone's butt?

I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but if this is how "The Man" wields the power here.... its sad. So many manly men can talk about hardass militaristic and war topics, but accidentally step on someone's toes and you get shut down like a gamer at prom. So sad.

If anyone needs to catch up before this thread get's locked and I get banned, I asked what 4chan was and why did it seem to follow with the mods getting their panties in a twist.

Real contraband type stuff.

Although assuming it was about 4chan my bet is the mods closed it so that "4chan imagery" wouldn't be linked.

Their kind of.... paranoid about it. Although aparently their are some younger users here on dakka.

And 4chans imagery is barely legal and even illegal at times.

Although their traditional games board /TG/ is fairly tame and often helpfull.

Imo though kids see raunchy stuff all the time. Don't hide em from the world folks.

4chan in a nutshell is the Internets black market. ANYTHING can be found there.

Everything counting sometimes Child porn, mutilation pictures, all the wonderful things you could imagine.

Personally none of that stuff doesn't bother me. But I can see it bothering other people.

I'm also a immoral, morbid nerd who likes Black Metal and hanging around in a gloomy dark room all day watching a monitor and the TV.
