Ever had your wisdom teeth pulled? How long did they bleed etc.

I had mine pulled today and honestly 6 hours later I am eating a big green apple.

So I guess I'm resilient.

Mine got stuck behind a flap of skin, which went manky... Nice!

How many did you get pulled?

And what kind of painkillers are you on? Mine didn't bleed all that long, but were sore forever.

If you're on painkillers you might not feel the damage that apple is doing to your mouth...

I had 2 pulled out. My pain killers worn off.. maybe 3 or 4 hours ago.

I imagine it would hurt if I was doing damage.

Yeah, probably.

I'd still take it easy though. If those clots come loose you might have to take a trip to the Emergency Room.

When I got home from getting mine pulled they started bleeding again and I had to get rushed back up to the hospital and have them sewn shut. Best not to tempt fate, friend.

Mine wasnt bad, it was the trip home that went crazy.

My brother had to drive me home because of the gas they gave me, got my head all wonky. So half way home, my car runs out of gas(the gauge decided it didnt want to work anymore) So we decided to walk to 3 miles to my moms work, and borrow her car to get gas. Once we got into town, I started coughing horribly for some reason and busted my stitches. So now Im holding my hand to my mouth while its bleeding what I thought to be all I had in me.
The best part is, the local grade school gets out, and all these poor little 1-6th graders watch in horror at the guy bleeding like a stuck pig and stumbling everywhich way from the side effects of the gas. It was a hilarious sight.
BUT once I got everything all fixed up, it was pretty smooth sailing. I ate nothing but pudding for a few days so that was a plus lol

Woah! I had a tooth taken out today as well! Mine was fethed up - the root was infected, which meant that the local didn't work properly. It was numb..ish. Pretty painful. Still walked two miles home afterwards though! That's because I'm hard.

Funnily enough, I had a wisdom tooth out last year, at the same time as one of my molars (yes, my teeth are fethed - don't do drugs, kids...) - it was a piece of piss. Apparently they have a single root, so they just pop right out. Molars have 4 splayed roots. And are a bitch.

Had the right two pulled, no real problems. Novacaine, he goes in, feel some pressure, takes some time, done. Didn't even bother with getting the painkiller prescription.


EDIT: But at least I got to drive home...

Yea I need all 4 wisdoms pulled at once. I got shots, and some gas. Im not a drug taking kind of fella, so I reacted rather harshly to all the gak they put in me. I hate meds

Oh, do they prescribe painkillers for afterwards in the US? They don't do that here.

@Shadowbrand - Yeah, they do don't they? Wisdom teeth, I mean. Like I said, mine was a piece of piss when I had it out. But today's one was a molar.

A molar that hated my guts. But I kicked it's ass.
