Hello everybody. I was hoping I could get some more experienced advice on fielding my Ork army at 1850 points, specifically on how I should use what I have, not so much what I should get. The reason i make the distinction is because although my original plan was to purchase the models needed to make more of a mechanized force, I got a great deal on an Ork Megaforce off of Amazon and I'd hate to see the bikes go to waste. and I could use the boyz hehe

I'm new to Warhammer 40k and I've been playing casual games with friend at 1000 points only and this is what I currently own:

31 ork boyz
5 Nobz
Warboss
3 Deffkoptas
one trukk
one battlewagon

Not hard to see how I have been fielding my troops, my friends are pretty lax on the rules so they let me use my nobz as bikes even though i don't have the models (i know this is a big no no

My plan in moving up to 1850 was to grab three more trukks, another battlewagon, snikrot, ghazkull and some lootas. My intended list was actually very similar to one I saw Dash post here not long ago actually.

Anyway, in addition to what i listed i have two more trukks and the contents of the megaforce on tap. I still want to use snikrot and ghaz as well as burnas or lootas so i will purchase those models but I will probably only stick to the one battlewagon I already own to limit the cost. does anyone have any ideas on how i could maybe use the bikes in an effective list, maybe as nob bikers?

my available resources will now be the following plus the models I mentioned I wanted to purchase earlier:

76 boyz (31 plus 40 in the megaforce plus the 5 nobz models i can use as nobz in my squads)

when you get the megaforce buy a second box of Lootas/burnas this will give you 8 of each plus 4 meks
