Hi guys,

While I was reading the FAQ on the rule book.

http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m2030054_FAQ_40Krulebook_Feb2010.pdf

On page 3, the IG kill point is a little confusing to me.

Q. How many kill points is an Imperial Guard
Command Squad worth? Is a Junior Officer and
his four Guardsmen worth 1 point or 2?

A. A Command Squad is an independent
character and his retinue, as defined on page 48
of the rulebook. The rulebook clearly states on
page 91 that a character and his retinue are worth
1 kill point each. Therefore the enemy gains 1 kill
point for killing the Junior Officer, and 1 kill
point for killing the accompanying Guardsmen.

Does that apply to the fallowing list?
HQ- Company command squad
Troop - Platoon command squad

What else is missing on that list?

Thanks

I think it is a throwback to the old dex; much the same way as there is no longer a "thornback biomorph" and the current IG dex says nothing about chimeras only being able to be ridden by the purchasing unit(the other 2 bullet points in army specific Questions).

CCS and PCS are 1 Kill point as the officers are not ICs, and the squad is not a retinue

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

It's from the old codex, just ignore it.

As the others said, that's concerning the old ID codex. The officers are no longer ICs no matter what happens to their command squad.
