I recently got to paint up a bunch of dwarves (for a commission). These guys have great character to them.
The color scheme was interesting- I was given the colors to use, and told to alternate which is more prominent- but the actual composition was up to me. That's one of the ways I like it anyway, since I really do like working with compositions.
So, here are the results.

Yeah. When I first saw the big steam robots, I thought these guys were gnomes. But I guess there isn't that much of a difference there anyway.

I like them quite a lot. The greens and tans look quite ceramic, not sure if that was intentional or not. (Note: It's an effect I very much like)
